I spent 1 night here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is newly remodeled with incredibly nice staff who impressed me with their customer service. The location is fantastic, close to downtown restaurants and shops, as well as the beach and downtown area.

the location was good and stunning for exploring santa cruz. tried some takeout specials at surf city grill, luckily it was at a short distance from the venue.

The room was updated and clean and available with 2 huge beds. I appreciated that they had a microwave oven, a refrigerator, coffee and tea making facilities.

The rooms are spacious and modern with a comfortable bed and a convenient eating area.

Air conditioning makes noise. Impossible to sleep with it.

Super easy access to the boardwalk. Rooms have been remodeled and beds are really comfy. My 8yr old daughter and I stayed for two nights during her spring break and never used the car once. Felt safe walking day and night. Maid service and front desk were really nice too.

The staff was very accomodating and personable, even at half-past midnight. I was pleased that all the positive comments I read about this place is true. The rooms were clean, nice and comfortable. There were some comments about the not-so-nice neighborhood, but I didn't think it bad at all. The streets around the hotel were empty when we arrived shortly past midnight. Generally I'd expect to find more people wandering the streets. But it was quiet and peaceful. Parking was limited, but free street parking is available, even at metered spots, until 10am the following morning. For the price I paid, this hotel was a great value!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Free brekkie in the morning was a bonus. The location was very close to both the beach and downtown.

Nothing about the accommodation itself. If walkgin in the evening, the street lighting on the way downtown is a little poor, although the area did not feel unsafe
